CARITA BORONSKA, a songwriter and singer from Sweden who started her career in advertising with her interpretation in a Movistar television spot. The hit single ’The beat goes on’ (Universal, 2000) was Carita’s first important work, which was also the song main character of the film ‘La Gran Vida’ (starring Salma Hayek and Carmelo Gómez). Formed musically at the Berklee College of Music in Boston (United States), she lived in Spain for one of each. In 2007 she went to Paris and in 2009 she returned to her home country, Sweden. she has composed various soundtracks, among others, she has put music to feature films such as ‘You are my hero’ (Manuel Lozano), ‘6 women, a deceased and a workshop’ (with Carmen Maura and Pablo Carbonell) and ‘Sweaty beards’ (Swedish Viking comedy). In 2017 she makes the soundtrack for WALTZING TILDA, a short film Swedish-Australian who has been awarded in many festivals.
