LA ROSA NEGRA

"La Rosa Negra" is an American music group formed in Madrid. It consists of singer Sonia León and guitarist Roberto Llanos. American music, in its origins, combined the folk music of some European immigrant countries, primarily Ireland, with other African American musical forms already established in North America.

La Rosa Negra has a repertoire of classic country, folk, old-time, and American swing songs with that touch of sweetness that Sonia León infuses into her performances. Their sound transports us to the times of the Wild West, and their lyrics tell stories of outlaws, heartbreak, and loneliness. Great legends of this music with their greatest hits (John Denver, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Kansas, etc.) are represented in a pleasant and engaging performance.
