Velvet Jazz is the union of a velvety voice and an elegant piano that pay homage to the great classics of jazz. In an intimate setting, Pilar González and Jorge Hidalgo offer a musical experience brimming with emotion, subtlety, elegance, and beauty.

This performance is designed for spaces where the audience wishes to stop time and be swept away by the magic of jazz in its purest form. Each song is a journey to the golden age of jazz, yet with a sensibility that breathes the present. Velvet Jazz doesn't seek to copy the past, but rather to revive it with soul and subtlety, creating an unrepeatable moment at every concert. Velvet Jazz follows in the footsteps of the great performers: Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra... Their legendary songs such as "All of Me," "Misty," "Summertime," "Cheek to Cheek," "Cry Me a River," and "Fly Me to the Moon," among others, have withstood the test of time, and Velvet Jazz performs them at every concert without losing their essence.
